Israel has rolled out a “freedom bracelet” tracking device for those entering the country from abroad as a part of new Covid restrictions for travelers.
Under the new rules, international travelers coming into Israel will have two choices; either quarantine in an “army hotel” or wear the tracking device bracelet during a ten day quarantine at home.

The device, which resembles a smart watch, is being produced by a company called SuperCom that has previously worked with governments of several countries on systems to track and monitor prisoners, reports Summit News.

CEO of SuperCom, Ordan Trabelsi, says the name for the bracelet is fitting because it allows travelers to avoid being locked up for simply entering the country.

“We call it a ‘freedom bracelet’ because we are not locking anybody up, but rather giving them the opportunity to go home,” Trabelsi said.
“Nobody is forced to do it, but for those who are interested, it gives them another option: more flexibility,” he added.
As Summit News further notes:
The development comes at the same time as a court ruling demanding that the country’s domestic spy agency the Shin Bet must back off Covid-19 contact-tracing surveillance.
The court ruled that the efforts are “draconian” and a threat to democracy in the country, and can only be used in emergencies.
Israel is also operating a two tier society where those who have been vaccinated have a ‘green pass’ to go where they want, and those who haven’t must stay under lockdown.
The move by Israel is just the latest over-the-top decision by governments to relinquish individual liberty at the expense of a virus that poses virtually no threat to the lives of those in general good health under the age of 70.
As we highlighted last month, the United Kingdom has started forcing international travelers from a list of 33 countries to quarantine in a government-sanctioned hotel for over a week or face a large fine.
Travelers entering the UK from any country on the government’s new “red list” must pre-book and pay £1,750 ($2,120) to stay in a sanctioned hotel, an order which amounts to a large tax burden on travelers and will likely be another blow to the desperately struggling travel industry.
If the quarantine order is broken, the government is ready to issue a £10,000 ($12,114.90) fine.
If a traveler is found to be lying about where they are coming from, they will also face a £10,000 fine and potentially up to ten years in prison.
This week, Brussels announced it is set to propose a digital vaccination passport across the European Union.
“As for the question of what the digital green passport could look like: we will submit a legislative proposal in March”, European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen said Monday.

Israel Rolls Out “Freedom Bracelet” Tracking Device for Travelers

The Los Angeles school district is launching a Microsoft-developed a COVID-tracking app for children, which allows students to schedule and view the results of COVID tests, post the results of off-campus COVID tests, and schedule vaccinations.
According to a promotional video, however, “the real magic is your daily health check,” where students answer a questionnaire about whether they have any symptoms – after which the “Daily Pass” app will issue the child a scannable QR code to be scanned by a staff member, who will also take the child’s temperature.

Given the incredibly low transmission rate of COVID transmission at schools – just 0.08% among more than 90,000 students in North Carolina school districts according to the University of Minnesota’s Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy – one can’t help but question whether Microsoft’s app will actually improve the COVID situation, or simply collect data and habituate children to being tracked. Of note, all data will be reported as required to health authorities, according to the LA Times.

The app, first announced in August, will be “instrumental in coordinating student and employee health checks, coronavirus tests and vaccinations.”
The software associated with the app is already being used to schedule and track district-managed coronavirus tests and vaccinations — the district began a pilot vaccination effort last week.
In Monday’s announcement, Beutner touted the app’s ability to generate a unique QR code for each student and staff member authorizing entry to a specific L.A. Unified location for that day.
A person will receive that code based on a negative coronavirus test or by self-reporting that they are free of symptoms. When those individuals arrive at a campus, their QR code, a type of barcode, is scanned by a staff member, who also takes the individual’s temperature. Besides helping to keep people safe, the goal is to prevent logjams at the entrance to school at the beginning of the day. –LA Times
“Sort of like the golden ticket in ‘Willy Wonka,’ everyone with this pass can easily get into a school building,” said Superintendent Austin Beutner in a Monday statement.
The Times notes that this process “will not catch people who are asymptomatic carriers of the infection” (16% of children who contract COVID), but the school district hopes to “address that shortcoming through the weekly coronavirus testing of students and staff.”
“We’ll know the status of everyone in the building,” said Buetner, who added that it’s unclear when elementary schools will return to in-person instruction, but that day-care and small-group in-person learning will begin this week for a limited number of children.
United Teachers Los Angeles, meanwhile, says their district’s teachers, counselors, nurses and librarians should not return to work until they are fully immunized.

LA Schools To Launch Microsoft COVID-Tracking App So Children Can Attend Classes

Last fall a woman’s brain lining was punctured during a COVID nasal swab test. The injury caused brain fluid to drip down one of her nostrils.
In December, it was reported that saliva tests for COVID are as accurate as nasal swabs.  Nevertheless, nasal swabs are still being used for testing and another woman’s brain lining was penetrated in the process.  This caused fluid to drip down her nose too.

SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio woman is still in shock after she says a Covid nasal swab test went horribly wrong.
“It hurt, it was an immediate instant migraine,” says Chari Timm. “I’ve never had a migraine ever in my life.”
Chari Timm says the swab was inserted in her nose and she instantly felt pain.
Chari was in need of a heart diagnostic test and protocol states she had to test negative for Covid before they could run any tests. She says the swab was inserted in her nose and she instantly felt pain.
“It started from the back of my head and just extend it to the front of my head and my entire brain was an extreme pain,” she says. “Instantly fluid just was leaking out of my nose.”
Chari was leaking spinal fluid.
A neurologist from Methodist and an ear, nose and throat doctor diagnosed her with pneumocephalus days later.
Pneumocephalus is when there has been a rupture in the dural membrane, or the lining that’s around the brain, which allows air to enter the space that’s normally occupied by the head.
Experts say it’s rare, but they aren’t surprised it happened.

Another Woman’s Brain Lining Punctured While Being Nasal Swabbed for COVID

In previous articles, I’ve discussed the Great Reset and introduced several ways of understanding the economics of it. The Great Reset can be thought of as neofeudalism, as “corporate socialism,” as “capitalism with Chinese characteristics,” and in terms of “stakeholder capitalism” versus “neoliberalism.” In future installments, I intend to treat the technological (transhumanist) and monetary (centralized banking and digital currency) aspects that Klaus Schwab and others anticipate and prescribe.
But in this essay, I wish to consider the ideological aspect of the Great Reset. Just how do the planners mean to establish the reset ideologically? That is, how would a reset of the mass mind come to pass that would allow for the many elements of the Great Reset to be put into place—without mass rebellion, that is? After all, if the Great Reset is to take hold, some degree of conformity on the part of the population will be necessary—despite the enhanced, extended, and more precise control over the population that transhumanist technology and a centralized digital currency would afford.

This is the function of ideology. Ideology, as the Marxist historian of science Richard Lewontin has argued, works “by convincing people that the society in which they live is just and fair, or if not just and fair then inevitable, and that it is quite useless to resort to violence.”1 Ideology establishes the “social legitimation” that Lewontin sees as necessary for gaining the assent of the ruled. “The battleground is in people’s heads, and if the battle is won on that ground then the peace and tranquility of society are guaranteed.”2 Ideology on this account is not the same as world view. It is rather the mental programming necessary for domination and control short of the use of force. Ideological indoctrination is easier, less messy, and less expensive than state and state-supported violence.
Some may argue that the ideology of the Great Reset is simply socialist-communist ideology. After all, in many respects, socialist-communist ideology supports what the Great Reset promises to deliver. And this may work for some. There are those who would welcome, on socialist grounds, the “fairness,” “equality,” or “equity” that the Great Reset promises. Socialists might overlook or excuse the oligarchical control of society on the basis of the supposed fairness, equality, or equity among the mass of the population, and on the presumption that the oligarchy will be overthrown in the not-so-distant future. Socialism embeds a levelling predisposition that puts a premium on “equality” among the visible majority, even when that equality comes as a great loss for many otherwise “middle-class” subjects. In fact, when I briefly entertained the rantings of members of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA, including its leader, Bob Avakian, they admitted to me that worldwide socialism would mean reduced standards of living for much of the world, especially in the United States. They had no problem with this; in fact, they seemed to relish the prospect. No doubt, as Friedrich Nietzsche suggested, socialism is fueled, at least in part, by ressentiment—by resentment and envy for the property owner. Much could be said about socialists’ apparent approval, or at least conditional and temporary acceptance, of big monopolistic oligarchical corporatists and their preference for big business over small.3 Socialists see monopolization under capitalism as inevitable, as necessary for producing a more consolidated target to be overthrown, and as a sign of the imminent collapse of capitalism and the coming socialist-communist apocalypse.
Likewise, many socialists will be amenable to the Great Reset on principle—especially those who accept its rhetoric at face value. But for all its newfound popularity, socialism-communism still doesn’t represent the majority. While popular among Millennials and other millennialists, socialism-communism remains unsavory for many. It is regarded as alien, obscure, and loosely connotes something negative. But more importantly, for reasons that I’ll give below, socialist-communist ideology is not the ideology that best fits the goals of the Great Reset. This is where wokeness comes in.

What exactly is wokeness? As I write in Beyond Woke,
According to the social justice creed, being “woke” is the political awakening that stems from the emergence of consciousness and conscientiousness regarding social and political injustice. Wokeness is the indelible inscription of the awareness of social injustice on the conscious mind, eliciting the sting of conscience, which compels the newly woke to change their be­liefs and behaviors.4
This is as close to a definition of wokeness as I can manage, gleaning it as I have from the assertions of those who embrace it. Of course, the etymology of the word “woke,” and how it became an adjective describing those who are thus awakened into consciousness of social and political injustice, is another matter. I discuss the etymology in Google Archipelago:
“Woke” began in English as a past tense and past participle of “wake.” It suggested “having become awake.” But, by the 1960s, woke began to function as an adjective as well, gaining the figurative meaning in the African American community of “well-informed” or “up-to-date.” By 1972, the once modest verbal past tense began to describe an elevated political consciousness. In 2017, the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) recognized the social-conscious awareness of woke and added the definition: “alert to racial or social discrimination and injustice.”5
Yet there are as many definitions of wokeness as people who’ve heard of it, as is the case with most anything the least bit controversial. I’m sure that others can and will add to the definition or suggest that wokeness should be defined altogether differently. But the above definition and historical-semantical renderings are sufficient for our purposes. According to adherents, then, wokeness is enhanced awareness of social and political injustice and the determination to eradicate it.
But what could wokeness have to do with the Great Reset? As a corrective, wokeness is not aimed at the sufferers whose complaints, or imagined complaints, it means to redress. Wokeness works on the majority, the supposed beneficiaries of injustice. It does so by making the majority understand that it has benefited from “privilege” and preference—based on skin color (whiteness), gender (patriarchy), sexual proclivity (heteronormativity), birthplace (colonialism, imperialism, and first worldism), gender identity (cis gender privilege), and the domination of nature (speciesism)—to name some of the major culprits. The list could go on and is emended, seemingly by the day. This majority must be rehabilitated, as it were. The masses must understand that they have gained whatever advantages they have hitherto enjoyed on the basis of the unfair treatment of others, either directly or indirectly, and this unfair treatment is predicated on the circumstances of birth. The “privilege” of the majority has come at the expense of those minorities designated as the beneficiaries of wokeness, and wokeness is the means for rectifying these many injustices.
And what are the effects of being repeatedly reprimanded as such, of being told that one has been the beneficiary of unmerited “privilege,” that one’s relative wealth and well-being have come at the expense of oppressed, marginalized, and misused Others? Shame, guilt, remorse, unworthiness. And what are the expected attitudinal and behavioral adjustments to be taken by the majority? They are to expect less. Under woke ideology, one will be expected to forfeit one’s rights, because even these rights, nay, especially these rights, have come at the expense of others.
Thus, wokeness works by habituating the majority to the reduced expectations that I introduced in my first installment on the Great Reset. It does this by instilling a belief in the unworthiness of the majority to thrive, prosper, and enjoy their lives. Wokeness indoctrinates the majority into the propertyless future (for them, at least) of the Great Reset, while gratifying the Left, its main ideological propagators, with a sense of moral superiority, even as they too are scheduled to become bereft of prospects.
One question remains. Why is wokeness more suited to the objectives of the Great Reset than socialist-communist ideology? To answer this question, we must recall the selling points of socialism-communism. Despite the levelling down that I mentioned above, socialism-communism is promissory. It promises benefits, not deficits. It does not operate by promising the majority that they will lose upon its establishment. Quite to the contrary, socialism-communism promises vastly improved conditions—yes, fairness, equality, or equity but also prosperity for the mass of humanity, prosperity that has been denied it under capitalism. The workers of the world are called to unite, not under the prospect of reduced expectations, but on the basis of great expectations—not, according to Marx, to establish utopia, but at least to destroy and replace the current dystopia with a shared cornucopia. We know, of course, how this promise is kept. But it is nevertheless still proffered and believed by all too many in our midst.
We have seen, on the other hand, the subtractive character of woke ideology. Wokeness demands the forfeiture of advantages on moral grounds. Unlike socialism-communism, it does not offer empowerment or advocate the takeover of the means of production and the state by political means. Wokeness is a form of recrimination that compels the abdication, not the acquisition, of goods.
Woke ideology, I contend, has tilled the soil and planted the seeds for the harvest that the Great Reset represents to the ruling elite. Was wokeness intentionally crafted for this purpose? I don’t think so, but it nevertheless can and is being adopted for these ends, just as other ideological formations have been used for other ends. The ruling elite appropriates the available means at its disposal to effect its plans, including available ideologies. Woke ideology was available and ready for appropriation and application. Wokeness serves the Great Reset best, and thus we see the language of wokeness in the books and other literature devoted to its establishment: fairness, inclusion, etc.
Naturally, wokeness will not work on everyone. But the demand has been made so universal that unapologetic, noncompliant dissenters are figured as regressive, reactionary, racist, white supremacist, and more, and are dismissed, if not punished, on those grounds. Wokeness has thus attained dominance. Countering it will be a major requirement for challenging the Great Reset.

The Great Reset, Part V: Woke Ideology

A U.K. government vaccine safety review has revealed that 244 people, including 8 unborn babies, have died in Britain shortly after receiving one of two coronavirus vaccines.
The government has said that it does not believe the inoculations are responsible.
An extensive report produced by the U.K. government today has detailed all the suspected side effects [over 100,000 in total], including death, reported by medical staff or the people who received at least one Covid-19 vaccine between early December 2020 and January 31, 2021 [February not included].
The two vaccines currently in use in the U.K. are the Pfizer/BioNTech and the Oxford University/AstraZeneca. They were authorized by the country’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
According to the report:
“The MHRA has received 143 UK reports of suspected ADRs to the Pfizer/ BioNTech vaccine in which the patient died shortly after vaccination, 90 reports for the Oxford University/ AstraZeneca vaccine and 3 where the brand of vaccine was unspecified. The majority of these reports were in elderly people or people with underlying illness. Review of individual reports and patterns of reporting does not suggest the vaccine played a role in the death.”
The report included in its ancillary material the information that 5 miscarriages were reported after the use of the Pfizer vaccine and 3 after the Oxford vaccine.
The MHRA monitors the safety of the vaccines as they are used on the public, and to this end they introduced a “Yellow Card Scheme” to collect reports of any suspected side effects.
20,319 Yellow Card reports, including a total of 59,614 suspected adverse reactions, were made regarding the Pfizer vaccine. 11,748 were made regarding the AstraZeneca vaccine, which was rolled out only on January 4, 2021. 72 Yellow Card reports did not specify which vaccine was used.
The government’s report states that there were 3 – 4 Yellow Card reports per 1,000 doses, and stressed that the vast majority of inoculations have not been reported as having side effects.
By January 31, it says, an estimated 6.6 million first doses of the Pfizer vaccine and an estimated 3 million first doses of the Oxford vaccine had been administered. In addition, half a million second doses, mostly of the Pfizer vaccine, had been used.
The report also explains that the number of Yellow Cards submitted was not unusual for a new vaccine which the public and medical professionals have been encouraged to review.
It also says that there have not been as many Yellow Cards for the public use of the vaccine as there were reports of adverse reactions during the clinical trials.
For both the Pfizer and the Oxford vaccines, there were more than 1 in 10. Interestingly, the side effects for both vaccines are said to be “milder” and “less frequent” in people aged over 75.
The British roll-out has so far affected mostly the British elderly over 75, medical professionals and co-workers. The Yellow Card report says that the “overwhelming majority” of side effects happen soon after the vaccination and do not lead to complications:
“For both vaccines, the overwhelming majority of reports relate to injection-site reactions (sore arm for example) and generalised symptoms such as ‘flu-like’ illness, headache, chills, fatigue (tiredness), nausea (feeling sick), fever, dizziness, weakness, aching muscles, and rapid heartbeat. Generally, these happen shortly after the vaccination and are not associated with more serious or lasting illness.”
However, there have been reports of more serious damage associated with the vaccine, notably anaphylaxis and Bell’s Palsy. Now 130 “spontaneous adverse reactions associated with anaphylaxis or anaphylactoid reactions” in Britain have been reported for the Pfizer vaccine, and 30 have been reported for the Oxford vaccine.
Bell’s Palsy, which involves facial paralysis or weakening of the facial muscles, has been reported 99 times for the Pfizer vaccine and 15 times for the Oxford vaccine. The MHRA says that because this ailment “can also occur naturally, an association with the vaccine in not yet confirmed.”
The report says that a “range” of “isolated or series of reports” of other serious suspected adverse reactions have been reported.
It also said, however, that there were “currently no indications of specific patterns or rates of reporting” suggesting that the vaccines have been responsible for them.
But its links to specific reports attached to each vaccine do show a clear picture of hundreds, or even thousands, of particular reactions that would be unpleasant to experience.
Suspected adverse reactions after receiving Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine
A total of 59,614 suspected side effects were recorded after use of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine.
The link to the Pfizer vaccine analysis shows clearly that 1,437 blood disorders have been reported after inoculation, 1,204 of them being lymphadenopathy (enlarged or swollen lymph nodes). 712 cardiac disorders were reported, notably palpitations (303) and a speeding heart rate (230). 445 ear disorders were reported, including vertigo (146), ear pain (122), and varying amounts of hearing loss (31).
There were 823 references to eye disorders, including 145 reports of eye pain, 126 of blurred vision, and 5 of blindness. 6,605 gastrointestinal orders were reported, among them 2,889 cases of nausea, 924 cases of diarrhea, 775 cases of vomiting, and 283 cases of upper abdominal pain.
Of the 19,354 “general disorders” reported, 4,007 were cases of fatigue, 3,665 were fevers, 2,310 were chills, 773 referred to vaccination site pain, 491 were “influenza-like illnesses.” There were 308 immune system disorders, mostly hypersensitivity (146) and anaphylactic reactions (116).
Ironically, there were 1,186 reported infections, including 308 cases (including “suspected cases”) of Covid-19 itself, 231 cases of influenza, and 154 upper respiratory tract infections.
There were 224 injuries reported, and 357 metabolic disorders, of which 252 were decreased appetite. 8,129 muscle and tissue disorders were mentioned, of which 2,690 were muscle pain and 1,704 were joint pain. 11,160 nervous disorders were reported, including 5,506 headaches, 1,546 cases of dizziness, 45 seizures, 15 cases of paralysis, and 1 case of locked-in syndrome. There were 5 miscarriages reported.
Of the 830 psychiatric disorders reported, 162 were insomnia, 112 cases of being in a confused state, and 73 bouts of anxiety. Of the 120 renal & urinary disorders, 35 were renal pain and 12 were urinary incontinence. There were 187 reproductive and breast disorders mentioned, of which 31 were breast pain and 22 menorrhagia (heavy periods).
There were 2,397 respiratory disorders reported, including 520 cases of difficulty in breathing, 483 sore throats, and 426 cases of coughing. 3,947 skin disorders were reported, including at least 796 rashes and 776 cases of itchiness.  The 676 vascular disorders on record included 182 hot flushes.
Suspected adverse reactions after receiving Oxford University/AstraZeneca
A total of 42,649 suspected side effects were recorded after the use of the Oxford University/AstraZeneca vaccine.

Of the 15,644 “general disorders” reported, 2658 were fatigue, 4562 were fevers,2971 were chills, 100 were vaccination site pain, 579 were “influenza-like illnesses.” There were 90 immune system disorders, again mostly hypersensitivity (39) and anaphylactic reactions (28).
With the Oxford vaccine there were 695 reported infections, including 42 cases (including 2 “suspected cases”) of Covid-19 itself, 358 cases of influenza, and 74 upper respiratory tract infections.
112 injuries were reported, and 491 metabolic disorders, of which 430 were decreased appetite. There were 5,427 muscle and tissue disorders, including 1,983 cases of muscle pain and 1,281 of joint pain. 9,328 nervous disorders were reported, including 5,112 headaches, 1,207 cases of dizziness, 40 seizures and 5 cases of paralysis.
There were 3 miscarriages.
748 psychiatric disorders were reported, including insomnia (195), confused state (92), and hallucinations (64). 112 renal & urinary disorders were reported, including renal pain (48) and frequent urination (22). There were 83 reproductive and breast disorders reported.
Of the 1,030 respiratory disorders reported, 282 were cases of difficulty in breathing, 209 were sore throats, and 169 were cases of coughing. 2,052 skin disorders were reported, especially excessive sweating (615), rashes (271) and itchiness (224. The 337 vascular disorders on record included 121 hot flushes.
